Modeling Software

The following softwares are being developed as part of this project:

Working Molecular Dynamics

WMD is molecular dynamics program which is capable of simulating simple polymer (bead-spring) models as well as more complicated geometries such as spherical or cylindrical particles. Although it was developed with speed in mind rather than detail, it is easily adaptable to more realistic force-fields. It is also intended to be a learning tool for those new to molecular dynamics, and in that respect is kept as simple as possible while still remaining a fully functional MD program.

WMD's source code is available under an open source license. The Subversion repository is https://svn.scorec.rpi.edu/svn/PUBLIC/WMD.

XenoView

XenoView is a software package for molecular dynamics simulations. It includes flexible Graphical User Interface which can also be used with any other custom designed molecular simulation program. An executable for Windows can be downloaded from the XenoView project page

Parallel Hierarchic Adaptive Stabilized Transient Analysis

The PHASTA software currently can model compressible or incompressible, laminar or turbulent, steady or unsteady flows in 3D, using unstructured grids.
