| Abstract | This paper discusses the technologies needed to support the application of simulation-based design. Emphasis is placed on the technical components that must be added to existing CAD and CAE tools to enable the application of simulation-based design. These components include a sim-ulation model manager, simulation data manager, adaptive control tools and simulation model generators. The application of these technologies to automotive climate control system design is demonstrated. |
